The mission of the (Un)organized Sound Organization is to create resources that facilitate production, distribution, and appreciation of diverse sound practices. This was a faux organization created as a thought experiment in creating a nonprofit organization. A brand was created with visuals that sought to parallel the aural aesthetic of experimental music. Someone later pointed out that "uso" means lie in Japanese.
